Inquiry - Minor customizations

By placing this service in your cart, you are inquiring about the possibility and expected cost of a minor customization of one of our standard products.

We accept only a limited number of customizations at any given time. If the service is unavailable for order, all available spots are filled for the time being.

The following list contains the most commonly requested minor customizations. The list is constantly updated based on customer requests.

Examples for minor customizations:

Changing the type of the Nagel (f.e. for a Gottfried messer, from the standard M5b "shovel" nagel, to the N2a "shell" nagel) Making the messer with a non-protruding Nagel ("without a nagel") Adding fullers to a standard, non-pommelled grip Adding a pommel plate to the end of the grip Adding simple decorative motifs, or a short text on the blade, with etching Non-standard colors for scabbards or leather-wrapped grips Painting suspension straps to a custom color instead of the standard brown Leaving the clip-point and/or the false edge unsharpened Shipping a sharp type blade unsharpened

Please note that Minor Modifications have no set price for the time being. After placing your order, we will contact you via email to discuss the nature and details of the modification to your items. Once the details are discussed, you will receive a quotation for the requested modification via email. If you accept the quotation, the order will be prepared with the modification included. If you do not accept the quotation, you can either cancel your order or ask for the products to be prepared according to the standard specifications.

In both cases, orders are only confirmed and scheduled for production after full payment has been made.

Orders containing the Minor customization or Major customization services can not be paid for upon order placement, but have to be paid after the details are agreed upon, and the final prices are set in the order.
