Inquiry - Major customizations

By placing this service in your cart, you are inquiring about the possibility and expected cost of a major customization of one of our standard products.

We accept only a limited number of customizations at any given time. If the service is unavailable for order ("out of stock"), all available spots are filled for the time being.

The following list contains the most commonly requested major customizations. The list is constantly updated based on customer requests.

Examples for minor customizations:

Changing the overall length, blade length, or grip length Using non-standard materials for the blade, the accessories, or the grip Specifying an exact PoB length Making a non-standard Nagel for the product Making a non-standard crossguard for the product Elaborate decorations on the accessories/blade Non-standard grip construction (f.e. full-tang grip for the Falke kriegsmesser, or adding a pommel to the Gustav messer)

Please note that Major Modifications have no set price for the time being. After placing your order, we will contact you via email to discuss the nature and details of the modification to your items. Once the details are discussed, you will receive a quotation for the requested modification via email. If you accept the quotation, the order will be prepared with the modification included. If you do not accept the quotation, you can either cancel your order or ask for the products to be prepared according to the standard specifications.

In both cases, orders are only confirmed and scheduled for production after full payment has been made.

Orders containing the Minor customization or Major customization services can not be paid for upon order placement, but have to be paid after the details are agreed upon, and the final prices are set in the order.
